Starbucks Dimensional

If you've been into one Starbucks in Seattle, you've been in them all. Literally. Through some weird quirk of fate and potential dimensional oddities, every Starbucks entryway is connected to one core Starbucks. This Starbucks happens to be the biggest Starbucks ever seen.

The area itself is quite large, with an extra-long service counter. Behind the counter is an exceptionally large work area. The walls are decorated with unique designs, and there are lots of little tables with chairs… hi-tops and low. In the corner, there's even an area with a large number of couches.

Tyler sits at one of the tables in the building, sipping on the drink that is in his hand as he reads a magazine that is laid out on the table top. He takes a drink from the cup as he flips the page.

Selene walks in through the door and looks around. She spots Tyler and smiles. She walks over to him still smiling, "Hey sexy." she says looking at Tyler, "Mind if I join you?" She waits there until he responds looking at his eyes.

Tyler looks up at Selene and offers a smile to the woman, nodding his head. "Yeah. Sure. Have a seat." He says as he sets down the cup and closes the magazine. "I see you haven't taken our advice on the Starbucks. Where'd you enter from?"

Selene shrugs, "Umm…I'm not too sure. I was just driving around and ended up here, so I figured I would stop here and have some fun. I'm not doing anything today anyway so why not." she says with a smile as she takes a seat. "How are you doing?" she asks Tyler looking at him.

Tyler chuckles and shrugs. "Not a whole lot. Killing time mostly." He says as he smiles, looking to Selene. "How are you liking our fair city so far?" He asks her with a smile.

Selene smiles, "It's very nice. I love it." she says looking at Tyler. "I really enjoyed the other night. It was fun." she says with a grin on her face.

The door to the place is opened by some guy and he holds the door open for a young woman with long dark hair and brown eyes. The girl looks at the man for several seconds until she walks in. After she is inside.. Evelyn looks towards Selene and Tyler. Her eyes widen and she scratches her head.

Tyler nods his head and smiles. "It's pretty nice if you don't mind all the rain." He says with a smile, nodding his head. "Yeah. I had a good time too." He says before he looks towards the door as Evelyn enters.

Selene smiles, "I don't mind the rain at all. I like to dance in it also." she says looking at him. "I'm glad you had a good time. I was hoping you would." she says with a grin. She turns to see what Tyler is looking at and sees Evelyn.

Nothing is said.. not a word. Evelyn just stares at the two sitting at the table before she begins to make her way over. Her gaze leaving Tyler and Selene.

Tyler shakes his head slightly before he looks away from Evelyn to Selene and smiles. "So, what actually brought you over to Seattle? You're from England right?" He says before he takes a drink from his coffee.

Selene smiles, "Yeah, well I had better opportunities here, and It's just sorta where I ended up really." she says looking at Tyler. "What about you? Have you lived here all your life?" she asks looking at Tyler.

The teen stops right in front of Tyler and Selene's table. Her head is tilted and hair falls into her face. "Death maiden." She says in her soft voice and centers her gaze on Selene.

Selene turns to the teen a little startled, "Excuse me? Did you just call me Death Maiden?" she asks confused. She looks to Tyler then back to the girl, "Is there something I can help you with?

Tyler looks away from Selene and looks back to Evelyn. "What?" He looks to Selene and raises an eyebrow. "That a nickname for you or something?"

"So many.. screaming.." Evelyn looks down to the floor and her shoulders begin to shake. "Where are they?" Evelyn asks Selene and looks at the woman intently.

Selene shakes her head, "No. I have never been called that." she looks back to Evelyn, "What do you mean where are they? I don't know what you are talking about." she says her eyes wide. Afraid her secret is going to come out, but then again, it might be too late for that.

Tyler raises an eyebrow as he looks to Evelyn and then to Selene. "What is she talking about?" He asks Selene before he looks to Evelyn. "What are you talking about?"

Lyn just shakes her head over and over again. "So many.. so many.. you." The woman points at Selene and eyes her.

"Seeking help would be wise." Evelyn says and trail her finger on Tyler and Selene's table. "The shadows rise.."

Tyler raises an eyebrow at Lyn as he looks at her. "What are you talking about? How do you know her?" He asks, nodding towards Selene. "Do you need us to call someone? Maybe a doctor or a shrink?"

Selene looks at her confused, "I don't know what you are talking about, but You are starting to scare me." she looks to Tyler, "I don't know who the hell she is or what the hell she is talking about. Do you know her?" She then looks down "I'll be right back. I umm….I have to go to the bathroom for just a second." she doesn't look at anyone when she talks or when she gets up. She just goes into the bathroom and locks to the door behind her.

Evelyn watches as Selene leaves to the bathroom and then she looks to Tyler. "Do you seem them too? In the fire of all things?" Evelyn looks as if it is a legitimate question.

Tyler shakes his head to Selene. "I don't know her." He says to Selene before she leaves and goes to the bathroom. He looks back to Evelyn as she asks her question. "I don't see anyone or any fire." He says as he watches her.

Selene calms down and walks out of the bathroom a few minutes later and takes a seat back in front of Tyler. "Sorry, I had to…I just had to do something." she says looking at him. She leans in close and whispers in his ear, "I just wish she would leave. If she causes me too much stress I could lose it. That really doesn't need to happen." she says in a worried tone.

"I'm sorry." Evelyn's eyes snap to Selene and tears well up. "So sorry.." Lyn rocks back and forth and shakes her head. "You seem them, and there is nothing you can do about it. You.. look at them." Evelyn looks from Tyler to Selene. "The fire is alive and the Death Maiden walks." The tears fall down her face and she puts her head down.

Tyler looks to Evelyn and starts to pull out his cell phone. "Who do you want me to call? Maybe they can come pick you up or something."

Selene looks to Evelyn shocked, "I don't know what you are talking about." she says staring at Evelyn, "Do you need me to call someone for you?" she stands up and goes to Evelyn. "Is there anything I can do for you?" she asks looking at her.

Rather abruptly Evelyn straightens and begins to walk away. She has stopped crying and is now staring straight ahead. "Goodbye." She says softly as she makes her way out of there. "Open flame grows stronger." She also comments.

Tyler looks to Evelyn and shakes his head. "I think the asylum in town is missing a patient." He says to Selene, shaking his head slightly. "Wow. That was…interesting."

Selene nods, "I think you are right. That was the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me. Well close to being the weirdest." she says looking at Tyler. "I totally wasn't expecting that."
